KCU Delegates Visit Kim Il Sung University
Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae provincial delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) on Tuesday visited Kim Il Sung University, the parent body of the Juche-based education.

The visitors laid bouquets at the statue of President Kim Il Sung on Ryongnam Hill on the campus and paid homage to him.

After being briefed on the leadership exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk for the development of the university, they toured the e-library and swimming complex built on a modern basis.

Han Un Sim, KCU instructor at Anak Primary School in Anak County, told KCNA:

"The visit to the university made our schoolchildren get a lot of fresh feelings.

In particular, they were deeply impressed by the autograph of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il displayed at the e-library. The autograph clearly shows his strong will to turn our country into a sci-tech giant."

Kim Chong Hyang, a delegate from Sinhung Secondary School in Sinchon County, said:

"With the autograph kept deep in my mind, I will study harder for Korea and top the list in all class results. Thus, I will prepare myself to be an able worker for the country as wished by the dear respected Kim Jong Un."

So Kyong Son, a chief KCU instructor at Sinwon Secondary School in Sinwon County, said:

"Many delegates have expressed their desire to study at this university during their visit. I told them that they can materialize their desire if they are good at study and organizational life."

Ri Ju Sok, a delegate from Sinhung Secondary School in Sinchon County, said:

"The university is more splendid than what I saw on TV.

I want to study at Kim Il Sung University in the future."

Pang Hyok Jun, a delegate from the Kosan Secondary School in Jaeryong County, said:

"I resolve to be a dependable student faithful to the dear respected Kim Jong Un."
