Kaesong Schoolchildren's Palace Opens in DPRK
Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Kaesong Schoolchildren's Palace has been renovated in the DPRK.

Its entrance hall was created in a formative and artistic way to meet the aesthetic need of the present era with delicate decorations to suit the mentality of schoolchildren.

There are dozens of rooms for various hobby groups including rooms for studying electronic appliances and practicing accordions.

The rooms are peculiarly designed so that schoolchildren can learn to their hearts' content.

The floor covering the area of 1 400 odd square meters and lots of stairs are paved with marble stone, brightening the interior.

The construction of gabled roofs of the Palace that highlighted the characteristics of Korean-style buildings was finished in a short span of time.

A plaza was newly created while flower shrubs and trees were planted around it to green the area.
