S. Korean Internet Newspaper Segye Ilbo Had Better Wag Its Tongue Properly: KCNA
|

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Segye Ilbo is behaving like a bad egg. Upon receiving the open ultimatum issued by the General Staff of the Korean People's Army, fools of the paper dared say this or that about it after putting on shelf its malignant abuses. It is ridiculous, indeed. We would like to ask Segye Ilbo. Can the paper explain the reason why it is so displeased with the celebration events of 20 000 children of the same nation? There is a Korean adage "one speaks of funerals when the talk is of marriage." The paper raised the irrelevant issue of "defectors from the north" which cannot go unnoticed. It is said that the number of defectors from south Korea who went overseas reached as many as 500 000. Doesn't the paper know about this fact or pretends not to know it? All of the south Korean emigrants are those who left the south, cursing its society. There are at least three million south Koreans who emigrated to foreign countries under the cloak of taking asylum, emigration, international marriage, etc. for more than four decades from 1962 to 2007. The paper should feel ashamed for going crazy, unable to discern directions. It must be mentally ill. The paper went the lengths of saying this or that about the nuclear and missile issues of the DPRK, not content with defaming the celebrations of the anniversary of the Children's Union. It is common human relations to congratulate a neighbor on its happy event, to say nothing of that of a fellow countryman. How can the nation tolerate the mud-slinging made by the paper? The paper described the ultimatum as an attempt to "put a gag in the mouth". Is there anything to gain by gagging the paper ill-famed for inciting confrontation? Great irony is that this paper is impertinently claiming that it is "one of media of the democratic world". The virulent abuses made by the paper are nothing but a shriek made by those who are on pins and needles, feeling guilty of what they have done and fearful of retaliation. The paper was taken aback by the firm will of the army of the DPRK to blow up the centers of those who are hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK and doing harm to its ideology, social system and people. The paper would be well advised to call a spade a spade. |
