"Coloring" Hysteria Is Not Way Out for Lee Group: KCNA Commentary

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- The "coloring" hysteria of the south Korean conservative group reached its height. A whirlwind of the campaign for "eliminating those following the north" is sweeping throughout south Korean society, to say nothing of the "National Assembly" and the military. In the wake of traitor Lee Myung Bak's public appearance in which he grumbled "the forces following the north are problematic," the prosecution hurled repressive forces into an operation for investigating progressive figures. The traitor cried out for preventing "the faction following the north and the Juche idea from entering the NA" in a bid to cook up a "NA resolution" for expelling the lawmakers from the Unified Progressive Party from it. He instigated the conservative media to make much ado that "the faction is going to wrest power". The Lee group is also giving "brainwashing" to soldiers of the puppet army on the theme of "recognition of the existence of the faction of the leftist forces following the north." The south Korean conservative group's such madcap "coloring campaign" is, in a nutshell, nothing but political terrorism aimed at ensuring the stay of the conservative forces in power. The group is now finding itself in an uncontrollable political and economic crisis, a product of its misrule, before "the presidential election." An unprecedentedly large number of candidates from the Unified Progressive Party and other progressive forces were elected to the "NA" in the election held in April. The conservative group feels much fretful over the fact that progressives' advance into the NA would be an impediment to its policy of confrontation and war against the north and help the tendency towards achieving reunification through an alliance with the north rapidly rise to create a situation unfavorable for the maintenance of the puppet ruling system and stay in power. This prompted the group to come out again with "theory of coloring" as a stopgap measure to cope with the "call for judging Lee Myung Bak-Park Geun Hye" made by the people of different social standings and the pro-democracy and reform forces in a desperate bid to turn the situation favorable to it before the "presidential election." The "coloring" hysteria is the fit into which the group used to go whenever it comes to elections. The successive conservative group including the clan of the "Saenuri Party" attempted to wriggle out of the political crisis by raising the shocking "theory of coloring", but it got them nowhere. They seem to have forgotten this. The rat-like Lee Myung Bak group seeks to create an atmosphere of confrontation with fellow countrymen through its tricky "theory of coloring" in an effort to divide the public opinion and calm down the mounting call of different circles for judging the regime. But the group has committed too many crimes to turn the situation favorable to it. Its "coloring" hysteria brings to light the true colors of the Lee group as a group of fascist gangsters who leave no means untried to meet its factional interests and ambition for power. Despite its desperate efforts to prolong its remaining days through the long bankrupt "coloring operation" the Lee group forsaken by the nation has already been destined to go to ruin. The "coloring" hysteria is by no means a way out for Lee Myung Bak. |
