KCU Delegates Sorely Miss Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, June 6 (KCNA) -- Yearning for President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il have become more intensive among delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU). Jo Kuk (12), a delegate from Woeryong Secondary School in Kanggye City, Jagang Province, told KCNA: "I have come to Pyongyang with 150 000 white broad bellflower roots from my native place to plant them around the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il lie in state. My native place is associated with leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men. I want to plant them marked with sincerity of my parents and classmates." Pak Tae Hyok, a delegate from Hoeryong Primary School in Hoeryong City, North Hamgyong Province, said: "I am here with 40 kilograms of wild honey, gathered together with my classmates, and white broad bellflower and lily bell roots. They represent our unanimous wish for good health of the dear respected Kim Jong Un. I will be a pillar of the future as befitting the rising generation of Hoeryong where anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk was born." Many other delegates, including Ri Jong Sim, a delegate from Ryangji Secondary School in Songwon County, Jagang Province, brought with themselves saplings of various species of trees, wild vegetables, gravel stones and congratulatory banners. |
