The bulletin carried articles illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

In an article titled "For the people" the bulletin said that he was a statesman who pursued politics based on love and trust for the people.

It went on:

His love for the people reached all places where they live.

Worksites and families visited by him can be easily found everywhere in the DPRK. When the whole country grieved over the demise of President Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il, more saddened by his demise than anyone else, let a plane fly for new born triplets. This story is told as a legend.

In an article titled "The way chosen by the DPRK" it said:

Which way the DPRK will follow after the demise of Kim Jong Il?

As a reply to this question of world's concern, there rings out from this country the declaration that it will take to the last the road of independence, the road of Songun and the road of socialism explored by Kim Il Sung, the father of socialist Korea, and carried forward by Kim Jong Il.

The DPRK will never step back from the road of independence.

It will keep to the road of socialism to the last.
