Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- Delegates to the celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) wrote down in their diaries their impressions of the events held on the KCU birthday. Kim Ye Song, a pupil at Pyongyang Sinri Primary School, said in her diary: "Today marks the KCU birthday. I have too many things to write about today full of happiness and glory. First of all, I would like to say that we are the luckiest children in the world. As we were waiting for the time to start the joint national meeting of KCU organizations at Kim Il Sung Stadium, the dear respected Kim Jong Un, whom we, schoolchildren, had so eagerly wanted to see even in a dream, appeared in the rostrum with a board smile on his face. I could hardly believe this fact and pinched myself to see if it is real." Choe Nam Il, a student from Rasok Secondary School in Chongam District, Chongjin City, North Hamgyong Province, said in his diary: "The dear respected Kim Jong Un in his congratulatory speech called us 'My beloved comrades, all members of the Children's Union!' several times. We were so much touched by that. The dear respected Kim Jong Un, thank you very much." Kim Kum Sun, a student from Kangryong Secondary School in Kangnam County, Pyongyang, said in her diary: "I was honored to see the dear respected Kim Jong Un two times today. He joined us in appreciating the concert given by the Unhasu Orchestra, after attending the joint meeting together with us. I was in excitement during the concert. When it was over, all those present gathered around him with stormy cheers. He acknowledged our cheers by waving his hand. Kim Jong Un is really the eternal sun for all of us. The happy day passed like an arrow. With this honor and glory deep in my mind, I firmly resolved to be better at study and organizational life and thus become a patriot and a hero who will glorify Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il's Korea." |
