The joint declaration is a cornerstone for development of inter-Korean relations and the great programme for Korea's reunification as it indicates the ideological basis, fundamental principle for achieving national reconciliation, unity and reunification and the ways for their implementation, the bulletin said, and went on:

No sooner had the declaration been adopted than it aroused warm support and sympathy of all the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad and eye-opening events startling the world people took place one after another in the course of implementing it.

But the present south Korean conservative "government" authorities, not content with denying the declaration, are answering the DPRK's widespread proposal for dialogue with the intensified moves for confrontation and war against their fellow countrymen in league with foreign forces.

Steadfast is the will of the all the Koreans to implement the declaration to the end, regarding it as a landmark for reunification.

The Korean nation will certainly achieve the peaceful reunification of the country under the banner of the joint declaration.
