Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Delegates of the Korean Children's Union from South Phyongan, North and South Hwanghae provinces and Nampho City left Pyongyang by bus on Saturday after attending the celebrations of the 66th KCU birthday. Pyongyang citizens waved their hands to the processions along streets. With tears in her eyes, Sin Song, a pupil of primary class at Sinhung Secondary School in Sariwon City, North Hwanghae Province, told KCNA: "When we departed from the April 25 Hotel, I felt as if I were leaving my own home. Employees of the hotel and doctors had taken warm care of us day and night as our own parents do. I am reluctant to break with them. I want to see them again." Kim Il Gwang, a student of Wasan Secondary School in Waudo District, Nampho City, said: "During our stay in Pyongyang, we toured all places where I wanted to visit, including Generalissimo Kim Il Sung's old home in Mangyongdae, the Kumsusan Place of the Sun, the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong, the Amusement Park in Kaeson Youth Park, Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace and Okryu Restaurant. Every day, I wrote down in my diary what I saw and thought that I should do a lot of good things for the country. I will be good at study to become an admirable worker for the country." Kim Pom Su, a student of Suwon Secondary School in Sinwon County, South Hwanghae Province, said: "For life, I will remember the happiest day when we saw the dear respected Kim Jong Un nearby. Now I am not a mere child. I will study hard as desired by Kim Jong Un with my days in Pyongyang always kept in mind." |
