The party, state and society show exceptionally deep concern for the rising generation. A high-pitched drive is now under way to create more good things faster for posterity.

The greater difficulties the Korean people face, the greater attention they should pay to their youngsters and the more firmly they should protect their destiny and the more sincerely they should take care of them. This is the steadfast stand maintained by the WPK, the mother party.

The WPK has shown all sorts of loving care for them. This meticulous care reached to all schools, schools of orphans and baby homes across the country and the maternity hospital. It was under this profound care that largest-ever celebrations of the 66th anniversary of the Korean Children's Union were held.

It has a grandiose plan for the happiness of the generations even 50 years or a century ahead. Gigantic operations are in the making to build monumental edifices at the highest level to be handed down to posterity. Revolutionary changes are taking place in land management including the creation of forests, improvement of rivers, streams and roads and environmental protection. These would be unthinkable without the noble outlook on the younger generation.
