Karzai Condemns US Airstrike

| Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Afghan President Hamid Karzai in a statement Thursday condemned a U.S. airstrike that Afghan officials said killed 18 civilians, including nine children and four women, according to a report. "NATO operations that inflict human and material losses to civilians can in no way be justifiable, acceptable and tolerable," Karzai said in the statement. In the statement he said a thorough investigation of the airstrike would be conducted. |
