The building materials are widely used in many construction projects, including the Pyongyang Folklore Park.

Kil Song Ung, manager of the factory, told KCNA:

"The factory has supplied various kinds of tiles and roofing tiles to major construction projects throughout the country.

It has facilities for producing raw materials, tiles for floor, wall and roof decoration and marble tiles.

All production processes are streamlined.

Roofing tiles are made with locally available tuff mixed with clay.

After finishing an anthracite gasification project, the factory has kept production going at a high rate.

When visiting the factory in July Juche 98 (2009), leader Kim Jong Il expressed satisfaction over its operation totally based on locally available raw materials, saying the factory had strictly established Juche in production.
