Has S. Korea Anything to Say over Human Rights: KCNA
|

Pyongyang June 12 (KCNA) -- The anti-DPRK "human rights" hysterics of traitor Lee Myung Bak of south Korea has reached an extreme phase. Not content with mobilizing vicious conservatives and hack papers in taking issue with "human rights" and "people's livelihood" in the DPRK, they made no scruple of sending human scum to different parts of south Korea and other countries to kick off the black-hearted "human rights" farce. Recently the traitor supported the "human rights ruckus" of his American and Japanese masters, blustering that "the north's 'human rights issue' is an urgent matter to be dealt with and settled before its nuclear and missile issues." It is a revelation of a base and black-hearted intention to hurt the international prestige of the DPRK, curb the influence of the might of its single-minded unity and mercilessly suppress the anti-Lee Myung Bak struggle and the movement for reunification through alliance with the north that runs high among south Koreans by building public opinion over the non-existent "human rights issue". The "human rights issue" touted by the hostile forces does not exist nor can it exist in the DPRK as the independent rights and creative activities of the popular masses are institutionally guaranteed in the country. The people of the DPRK are admired by south Korean compatriots as they enjoy genuine freedom and rights of independent human being as full-fledged masters of the state and society. South Koreans have turned out in the movement for reunification through the alliance with the north, saying that the future of reunified Korea belongs to the DPRK, socialist society centered on the popular masses. Upset by this, the conservative group is going reckless in its bid to incite hostility towards compatriots among people of different social strata through the anti-DPRK "human rights" ruckus and realize the wild ambition for "unification of social systems" against the nation without fail. To talk of the human rights, the miserable situation in south Korea must come on top of agenda as it is subservient to foreign forces and dictatorship stalks there. South Korea, a theater of sycophantic acts toward the U.S., the misrule and the fascist dictatorship, is just a hell of people, the kingdom of suicide and tundra of human rights. This can be illustrated by the tragic fate met by evacuees of Ryongsan, the case of an illegal investigation into civilians, the base politically-motivated plot and revenge that forced former "presidents" to untimely deaths, the actions to gag media, the campaign of cracking down upon the democratic forces under the pretext of "eliminating the forces following the north", etc. No wonder, the majority of south Korean middle schoolers said they want to live in foreign countries, being disillusioned at their society. South Korea suffers from the chronic human rights disease due to legal and institutional mechanism that is geared for human rights abuses such as the "National Security Law", restriction on access to internet and maltreatment of soldiers. Even their American master could not but refer to the poor human rights performance in south Korea in its "annual human rights report". The atmosphere of revenge on traitor Lee who recorded the worst misrule and corruption in the history of the human rights, democracy and inter-Korean relations is causing the fight among rulers, to say nothing of people of different social strata in south Korean society, shaking the ruling foundation of the puppet regime down to its roots. Such a base "human rights" ruckus by the traitor will only show the ugly true colors of those who are intent on confrontation with compatriots. |
