Speakers including M. Jahangir Khan, chairman of the Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy, said that in his work Kim Jong Il comprehensively systematized and crystallized the immortal exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung in the cause of national reunification by devoting all his life to it.

They noted that Kim Jong Il formulated the three principles of national reunification, the ten-point programme of the great unity of the whole nation and the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo as the three charters for national reunification and set forth important guidelines to be taken by all Koreans.

Kim Il Sung attached great significance to forming an all-nation united front and energetically led the struggle to rally the reunification forces in the north, the south and abroad, they added.

They expressed conviction that all the Korean people would surely achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, in line with the June 15 joint declaration.
