They laid a stumbling block in the way of the south Korean people's struggle for independence, democracy and reunification and turned the whole land of south into a scene of genocide.

They are, however, allowed to raise their heads and behave so shamelessly, touching off anger among people of all social standings.

A spokesman for the opposition Democratic United Party held a press conference in Seoul on Sunday condemning the forces which staged a military coup. He declared he could hardly repress resentment at the forces openly agitating the revival of dictatorship before people.

The spokesman demanded the rector of the cadet school and the minister of Defense own responsibility for this case and step down at once, stating it is absolutely intolerable.

The south Korean Internet radio "Voice of People" recalled on the same day that Chun Doo Hwan and his clique's shameless behaviors were opened to public by media, deploring that those forces are allowed to behave so shamelessly though they had been sentenced to death on charges of mass killings in Kwangju, etc.

"It is anachronistic to allow those forces who should be tried for massacre to review cadets' march", "it is a mockery and insult to people" and "it is aimed at reviving the forces of Fifth Republic". These are angry shouts heard from among south Koreans of different social standings.
