The bulletin carried articles titled "Exploits for national reunification", "Kim Jong Un, great sun of the Korean nation", etc. under the headline of "The 48th anniversary of great leader of the Korean people Kim Jong Il's start of work at the WPK Central Committee".

The WPK developed into an invincible party in which the leader, the party and the masses are a harmonious whole under the banner of Kimilsungism thanks to the energetic leadership of Kim Jong Il for nearly half a century. The party has steadily advanced along the road of victory weathering all sorts of trials and difficulties, the article said.

Kim Jong Il authored many works, proving the truth of socialism and the inevitability of its victory and pursued Songun politics, consolidating Juche Korea as an impregnable stronghold, it added.

The bulletin said Kim Jong Il provided the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration to open a broad road for achieving national reunification by the nation's own efforts free from interference of outside forces.
