U.S. Hostile Policy toward DPRK Censured by Nepali Paper

Pyongyang, June 17 (KCNA) -- The Nepali paper Arpan on June 8 carried an article condemning the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK under the title "U.S. choice". The U.S. sustained a defeat in the Korean War and was compelled to sign the armistice agreement for the first time in history, the paper said, noting that in the postwar period the U.S. worked hard to perpetuate its troops' presence in south Korea under the pretext of the south Korea-U.S. "mutual defense treaty". It went on: The U.S. forces have persistently refused to pull out of south Korea because of their ambition for world domination. It is a realistic requirement to defuse the tension on the Korean Peninsula and improve the DPRK-U.S. relations. The U.S. cannot bring the DPRK to its knees. This is the review of the DPRK-U.S. stand-off for nearly 70 years. It is clear that a new Korean war will lead to a complete ruin of the U.S. Now is the time for the U.S. to make a proper choice. |
