Russia paid special attention to the participation of the KPA Military Band, while hosting the festival. The festival preparatory committee said that the participation of the KPA Military Band high in artistry and military music etiquette would help further increase the significance of the festival.

Amur Region and various other Far Eastern areas invited the KPA Military Band to give performances in their areas, availing themselves of its participation in the festival.

The performances given amid great expectation towards the KPA Military Band evoked profound reverence for the great men among audiences.

Whenever the band played songs expressing boundless reverence for the peerlessly great men, audiences showed their thumbs, loudly shouting "Kim Il Sung!" "Kim Jong Il!" and "Kim Jong Un!"

Many personages of different social standings, people and soldiers of Russia said that the participation of the KPA Military Band in the festival was a significant event for Russia and the Far Eastern area. It is a great fortune for them to watch the art performance given by Korean artistes thanks to the care of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, they added.

The organizing committee of the festival specially instituted and presented the festival prize to Kim Jong Un, expressing thanks for sending the KPA Military Band.
