Such arms delivery is aimed to help the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors, the arch criminal who drove the inter-Korean relations into the lowest ebb, prolong its remaining days and instigate it to further escalate the confrontation with the DPRK and thus push the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch of tension.

The U.S. imperialists' deliberate and premeditated arms sale is now creating a touch-and-go situation on the peninsula.

The Lee group is now seeking a way out of its serious political crisis in escalating the confrontation with the DPRK.

That is why it is hailing the U.S. projected arms sale.

The U.S. imperialists are availing themselves of the confrontation hysteria of the Lee group and egging it onto escalated military stand-off with the DPRK, pursuant to their military scenario for putting Asia-Pacific under their control. Herein lies the gravity of the U.S. arms sale to south Korea.

Having made a switchover in its foreign policy to focusing on Asia-Pacific as part of its strategy for dominating the world, the U.S. is now set to carry out its strategy of siege and pressure upon big powers around the peninsula with it as a strategic stronghold.

It is the ulterior intention of the U.S. to whip the Lee group on the confrontation with the DPRK and push the situation on the peninsula to the brink of war in a bid to get on its nerves and shift the responsibility for the tensions onto it before starting a war.

It is beyond any doubt that the U.S. arms build-up will reduce the peninsula to a more dangerous hotspot and, consequently, disturb peace and security in Asia-Pacific.

The U.S. would be well advised to cool-headedly think over the serious consequences to be entailed by its reckless military act of fanning up the military confrontation between the north and the south of Korea.
