Present there were Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Yong Ho, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK. Attending there were also leading officials of the party, the state and the army, officials of the party, armed forces and power bodies, social organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, officials in the fields of science, education, literature and arts, public health and media, labor innovators and other working people.

The reporter said that Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., the WPK on June 19, 1964 was a historic event of special significance in developing the WPK and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.

He went on:

The history of the WPK led by Kim Jong Il is shining as a sacred revolutionary one in which he developed the party into an organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people and led the revolutionary cause of Juche to one victory after another.

He was the outstanding builder of the WPK who developed the party into a Juche-oriented revolutionary party.

He considered it as his lifetime task to develop the WPK into an eternal party of President Kim Il Sung and made a new history of building a party of the leader under the banner of imbuing the whole party with Kimilsungism.

The WPK has advanced along the road of victory only the revolutionary cause of Juche and Songun started in Mt. Paektu, weathering all sorts of tempests in world politics. This was the precious fruition of Kim Jong Il's original idea of party building and leadership and a striking demonstration of their greatness and eternal vitality.

Kim Jong Il taught the immutable truth that the army means the party, the state and the people and made sure that all the party work was oriented to the implementation of the Songun revolutionary line. Thanks to his outstanding leadership Korea which was once mercilessly deprived of its sovereignty because of its weak army came to demonstrate its might as the world's military power with matchless national power and a full-fledged nuclear weapons state.

Kim Jong Il's Juche-oriented idea of party building and cause are being successfully carried forward by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK.

Kim Jong Un has opened up a new chapter of the cause of immortalizing the leader, making sure that Kim Jong Il's immortal revolutionary career and feats shine for all ages and the WPK holds him in high esteem as eternal general secretary and develops into the glorious party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il,.

The WPK, the army and the people will successfully materialize the idea of Kim Jong Il and accomplish his cause with the great national pride and honor of holding Kim Jong Un in high esteem as the center of the leadership and unity.

The reporter underscored the need to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem as eternal general secretary and eternal Songun sun for all ages with pure conscience and moral obligation and firmly uphold and preserve his idea and feats.
