Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., the WPK on June 19, 1964 was an epoch-making event of great significance in developing the WPK and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche, says Rodong Sinmun.

He considered the party building as a fundamental issue in the revolution and energetically led the work to strengthen the WPK organizationally and ideologically and increase its leadership role in the whole period of leading the revolution, the paper says, and goes on:

He laid it down as a fundamental principle governing the party building to ensure monolithic ideology and leadership and wisely led the struggle to develop the party into the party of the leader.

He developed the party into the one representing and protecting the wishes and interests of the popular masses and a mass party deeply rooted among broad masses and linked with them by kinship in the whole period of leading the revolution.

He put forward the Songun politics in the 1990s when the country faced a stern ordeal as the main political mode under socialism and developed the party into the political staff of the Songun revolution.

His immortal feats in the party building are being successfully carried forward by the idea and leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Thanks to his intense loyalty and sense of moral obligation, Kim Jong Il's feats are displaying ever greater vitality and attraction as the days go by.

Minju Joson says that the WPK will demonstrate its dignity as the glorious party of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il thanks to the outstanding idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un and the army and the people who work hard like descendants of the President and disciples and soldiers of Kim Jong Il.
