All the members of the National Leading Council of the Diversity Unity Party of Indonesia express full support and solidarity for the Korean people in their struggle to reunify the country and achieve peace on the Korean Peninsula, the statement said, and went on:

The joint declaration is an immutable banner of all the Koreans in the north and the south to make a new history for national reunification by their concerted efforts.

The present south Korean authorities, however, have totally denied the joint declaration and strained the situation on the Korean Peninsula to an extreme pitch of tension while staging large-scale joint military exercises with the U.S. They should accept the joint declaration and stop at once the act of pushing the inter-Korean relations to an extreme phase.

We bitterly denounce the south Korean authorities for following the U.S. hostile policy toward the DPRK, and fully support the sincere efforts of the DPRK government to improve the inter-Korean ties in line with the joint declaration.

The Korean people will certainly achieve national reunification, a cherished desire of the nation, in the near future under the wise leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.
