Human Rights Abusers' Talk about "Human Rights Issue in North" Ridiculed
|
|
Pyongyang, June 21 (KCNA) -- The clan of the "Saenuri Party", a group of human rights abusers in south Korea, is busy with its shameless moves to cook up "law on human rights in the north". Traitor Lee Myung Bak is taking the lead in these moves, asserting that "the human rights issue in the north is more urgent than nuclear or missile issues". The clan of the "Saenuri Party" is intensifying the suppression of progressive forces opposed to those moves, labeling them as "forces following the north". They launched even a "signature campaign" for the adoption of the "law" with such human scum as deserters from the north involved. This is absolutely intolerable as it is another grave, politically motivated provocation against the DPRK and a blatant challenge to the wishes of the nation for independence, democracy and reunification. The "bill on human rights in the north" was introduced by the Lee Myung Bak group in the year when it came to power. This evil bill was reduced to a dead paper after being branded by south Korean people as "a bill supporting anti-DPRK actions" and "bill supporting the leaflet-scattering operation against the north". This four years old bill has failed to pass through the "National Assembly." This fact brings to light its reactionary nature. This time the group of traitors reintroduced the retrogressively revised bill. This glaringly reveals its wild ambition to escalate the confrontation with the DPRK. Through the concoction of the "law" little short of the fascist "Security Law" the group seeks to round off legal and institutional mechanisms for implementing its policy of confrontation with fellow countrymen and shore up the bankrupt row about "forces following the north" in a bid to stifle the pro-north reunification forces, mislead the public opinion and turn the situation before the upcoming "presidential election" favorable to it. It was the Lee group that turned south Korean society into the world's worst tundra of democracy and human rights. It is ridiculous, therefore, for these criminals to talk about "human rights in the north", forgetting that they have to sit in the dock before long. The "Saenuri Party" clan would be well advised to stop its ridiculous moves and opt to repeal the "SL." |
