The chairman of the Democratic Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association who is deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Democratic Congo said that Kim Jong Il formulated the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung as Kimilsungism with his energetic and extraordinary ideological and theoretical activities.

Kim Jong Il proclaimed the programme on modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism and consolidated the single-minded unity of the leader, the party and the masses in every way, the chairman said, and went on:

He resolutely shattered the anti-DPRK moves of the imperialists and their allied forces, turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power and nuclear weapons state and opened up a bright prospect for building a thriving nation.

He opened the June 15 era of reunification in the idea of "By our nation itself" and greatly contributed to global independence.

The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association said that progressive people of the world, together with the Korean people, are recollecting with deep emotion the feats of Kim Jong Il who led the country to victory despite difficult ordeals.

By providing two north-south summits, he opened up a bright prospect for national reunification, the chairman noted.
