Choe Un Bok, chairwoman of the association, said that leader Kim Jong Il ensured the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration, gave the warmth of reunification to the barrier of division frozen with distrust and confrontation for more than half a century, performing immortal feats to shine in the history of the movement for Korea's reunification

All the achievements made in the movement for the country's reunification since the publication of the joint declaration are unthinkable without the tireless efforts and outstanding leadership of Kim Jong Il, she noted, and went on:

The puppet conservative group of south Korea, however, soon after it came to power brought to naught all the successes of the June 15 joint declaration, escalated the confrontation with the DPRK and fabricated hideous provocations, leading the inter-Korean relations to the brink of a war.

The Association and all the Koreans in China would conduct unflinching mass campaign to drive the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors to a ditch of history and preserve and implement the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

The speakers praised the June 15 joint declaration as the most just and patriotic reunification program for the country's reunification and the prosperity common to the nation.

They called for turning out in the struggle to wipe out the anti-reunification group of traitors and achieve the reconciliation, unity, peace and reunification of the country.

A letter to the dear respected Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.

Earlier, there was a photo and book exhibition on the theme of "By our nation itself".

The participants watched a Korean film on the same day.
