A Chinese citizen said he could not keep back tears while watching the opera. The acting of actors and actresses was so truthful that it was a reminder of the past when the people were subject to all sorts of maltreatment and contempt.

A member of the doctoral institute of a college for agricultural vocation and technology in the city said that the opera provided an opportunity to know well that Korean arts are on a high level.

The deputy managing director of a company managing the Gansu Grand Theater stressed that many art troupes gave performances at the grand theater but none of them has ever won such acclaim and cheers of audience as the revolutionary opera "The Flower Girl."
