Okinawa Prefectural Governor Opposes Deployment of U.S. Transport Plane

| Pyongyang, June 22 (KCNA) -- The governor of Okinawa opposed the planned temporary deployment of the accident-prone MV-22 Osprey aircraft at the U.S. airfield in the prefecture. He clarified this when he met the Japan foreign minister on June 19. He urged the authorities to cancel the plan, saying the prefecture can not accept it. |
