The meeting was attended by officials of the Yanbian regional association of the General Association of Koreans in China and its branches and the Yanbian regional youth committee of the Youth Federation of Koreans in China in Jilin Province of China on June 16.

The declaration was read out there first.

Then followed speeches.

The speakers said that after the publication of the joint declaration all Koreans in the north, the south and overseas have strenuously carried on the movement for national reunification while achieving the national reconciliation and unity under the uplifted banner of "By the Korean nation itself".

The Lee Myung Bak group of traitors in south Korea, however, spoiled all the achievements made in the past by the Korean nation and totally negated the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration and screwed up the military tensions on the Korean Peninsula.

They appealed to all the Koreans to rise as one in unity in the struggle to make a clean sweep of the Lee group to the last man as early as possible and bring back the June 15 era.

They also called upon all Koreans in China to vigorously struggle under the banner of the June 15 joint declaration with the conviction that Korea is sure to be reunified under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un and thus thoroughly carry out the behests of leader Kim Jong Il for national reunification.
