He said: June 19, 2012 is a significant day, the 48th anniversary of Kim Jong Il's start of work at the C.C., the WPK. He devoted his whole life to prosperity of the DPRK and the accomplishment of the human cause of independence. He led the army and people of the DPRK to victory with his Songun revolutionary leadership and turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power.

Marking the anniversary we are recollecting again the undying feats of Kim Jong Il, who devoted his all to the happiness of the Korean people, defence of the country's sovereignty and the sacred cause of global independence.

We are convinced that his noble cause will be successfully inherited and accomplished by Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the WPK and first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.

We also reaffirm our full support for the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.

We hope Korea will be reunified independently and peacefully on the principle of the declaration and in its spirit.

Kim Jong Un will lead the heroic Korean people to rosier future.
