Environment Protection in DPRK Introduced by ITAR-TASS
Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- ITAR-TASS of Russia on June 21 introduced the environment protection in the DPRK.

Environment protection is regarded as an indication of noble patriotism for the wellbeing of the people in the DPRK, it said, and went on:

The all-people movement to green the whole country is being conducted regularly in the DPRK every year. Steps for protecting forests are being taken, natural sanctuaries increased and the period for general mobilization for land management was instituted. Various laws on environment protection have been adopted and enforced.

On March 2, 1946 President Kim Il Sung climbed Moran Hill in Pyongyang and gave precious teachings on planting many trees and flowers. Since then, a nationwide tree planting campaign has been conducted in the country every spring and autumn.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un recently clarified the tasks and ways of further strengthening land management and environment protection.
