Rodong Sinmun Discloses U.S. Aim in Interfering in S. Korea's "Presidential" Election
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The U.S. has let its heavyweights visit Seoul in succession recently, a sign of its deep concern about the "presidential election" due in south Korea late this year.

The U.S. is getting itself deeply involved in the "presidential election" in south Korea, becoming undisguised in interference in it.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says this in a bylined article.

This is aimed to help the pro-U.S. conservative regime stay in power and, through it, realize the strategy for domination of Korea.

Citing facts to prove that whenever new regime appeared in south Korea, the U.S. made intervention in an undisguised and cunning manner, the article goes on:

The U.S. interference in the "election" is aimed to seat a pro-U.S. stooge like traitor Lee Myung Bak on the chair of power.

The south Korean conservative group is working hard to cover up its hideous crimes through the frantic racket for "eliminating the forces following the north" and divert elsewhere the public criticism. It also seeks to prove its pro-U.S. stand and its firm policy of confrontation with the fellow countrymen.

If the wicked forces following the U.S. who pledged to "fight to death for the interests of the U.S." are allowed to stay in power, the south Koreans will suffer again.

The conspiracy between the U.S. and the clan of the "Saenuri Party" is an intolerable mockery and insult to the south Korean people who are anxious to see independence, democracy and reunification.
