Danger of U.S.-S. Korean Naval Drill Exposed
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean warmongers staged a combined naval mobile drill with the U.S. in the West Sea of Korea from June 23 to 25.

Involved in the drill were more than 10 warships including George Washington and destroyers, submarines, F-15K and carrier-based aircrafts as well as over 8 000 troops of Naval and Air Forces of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet army.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a serious military threat to the DPRK and an unpardonable act of wrecking the peace which escalates the tension on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia.

The combined drill is a clear revelation of an aim to preempt attacks on the north.

The drill in the West Sea of Korea immediately followed the joint naval drill of the U.S., Japan and south Korea in the waters south of Jeju Island.

What should not be overlooked is the George Washington's involvement.

This clearly proves the sinister intention of the U.S. and the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors to make a preemptive surprise attack on the DPRK from the West Sea of Korea where the military tension between the north and the south of Korea runs highest, while making the provocation of a new war a fait accompli.

The joint military drill against the DPRK is a desperate effort of the Lee Myung Bak regime to get rid of destruction. The military cooperation with outside forces and the provocative drill for a war would never be a way-out for the group of traitors.
