This indicates the U.S. desperate efforts meant to turn Okinawa into a sortie and advanced base for invading Korea and the rest of Asia.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a by-lined commentary in this regard:

What matters is that Japan is being played into the hands of the U.S. for its strategic needs and interests.

The removal of the U.S. military base from Futenma is not a mere military and business-like issue. It is a touchstone judging whether Japan has the will and capability to pursue an independent policy with its opinion free from the shackle of its master.

The massive deployment of the above-said aircraft is becoming a reality while the removal of the base is becoming less and less possible. It is just like receiving more kicks than halfpence.

What is tragic is that such a behavior is an inevitable choice for Japan as a stooge. Just after the defeat of the Japanese imperialists the U.S. put Japan under its control in chains of master-servant relations of alliance. This made Japan unable to think of anything its own way.

Japan's policy has long turned its back on public mind-set, pleasing the U.S. and following its politics. This is because the Japanese politicians entrusted their political fate to their U.S. master.

Japan is not properly dealing with the issue of military base in its land while kowtowing to outsiders. This is just a miserable fate of lackey depending on its master without any principle.
