S. Korean Trade Unions Call for Wage-hike
Pyongyang, June 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and the Federation of Trade Unions staged a sit-in strike in Seoul on June 21 in demand of a wage-hike.

The organizations held a meeting before launching the sit-in.

At the meeting speakers recalled that the Lee Myung Bak "government" broke down the meeting for deciding the minimum wage for 2013 from its beginning.

They accused the "government" of speaking for the interests of the employer side and seeking to set low the minimum wage.

The workers can no longer live in poverty, the speakers said, calling for actions against it.

The participants expressed their will to fight against the "government" authorities' misrule.
