Tian Mei, manager of a factory in Chongqing, said that he saw the feature film of the DPRK "The Flower Girl" in the 1970s and was deeply impressed with the film and so was he with the opera this time, adding that he has never seen such an excellent opera.

Yang Hong, vice news editor of a magazine, noted that the opera is a world masterpiece, and he has already known that the opera is one of the five revolutionary operas of the DPRK, adding that he is anxious to visit the DPRK to watch those five operas.
