In the war the U.S. imperialists slaughtered many innocent Koreans in a cruel and brutal way beyond human imagination.

During the temporary strategic retreat of the Korean People's Army, they killed at least 120 000 inhabitants in Hwanghae Province (at that time), more than 35 000 in Sinchon County alone.

The killers hammered nails on skulls of civilians, cut off their heads with saw and hung them upside down to set fire to their heads. Not content with such cruel way, they gouged out eyeballs of people and skinned them alive.

The U.S. troops used warplanes and heavy weapons to kill more than 400 civilians in the area of Rogun-ri, Yongdong County, North Chungchong Province.

Survivors at that time testified to the fact that the U.S. troops played with their lives like with insects.

The U.S. imperialists murdered more than 1 300 civilians the very day when they landed in Inchon in September 1950.

800 odd civilians including women and children were killed in Hungjae-dong on the outskirts of Seoul in one day alone.

A journalist of New York Times who witnessed the massacre reported that aged persons, women, youths and children, carried by trucks, were brought to a hollow to be turned into grave and were shot to death by MPs firing rifles and machine guns.

The thrice-cursed crimes, committed by the U.S. imperialists against the Korean people, should be atoned for at any cost.
