The present ruling forces of south Korea are dead-set against the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, seeking only confrontation and war, not national reconciliation and unity.

Once, they, taking hands of the DPRK, supported the joint declaration and tried hard to create impression that any problem would be solved if the DPRK discussed it with them. Nevertheless, they have frantically escalated confrontation with compatriots, while working hard to fabricate "law on human rights in the north", and kicked off a ruckus for "eliminating forces following the north".

This suggests that if they stayed in power, they would totally block the implementation of the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration.

It is needless to say that if the confrontation-minded maniacs are allowed to stay in power, the aggravated inter-Korean relations will never be mended nor peace be achieved and the progressive pro-reform forces in south Korea would be mercilessly stamped out.

It is the only way for saving the inter-Korean relations from catastrophe to respect and implement the above-said declarations.
