Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Sang Gun, permanent representative of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration, on June 14 scathingly criticized traitor Lee Myung Bak for blocking national reconciliation, unity and reunification. He said, "Lee Myung Bak blocked the road of national concord, the road of peace. He is ignorant of even the word of national concord." The reunion of separated families and relatives which had taken place several times every year since the publication of the June 15 joint declaration was held only twice under the present regime, he deplored. Various public circles demanded on many occasions the drop of the hostile policy going against the trend of the times and restoration of non-governmental exchange, but Lee Myung Bak lent no ear to the demand, he said. On the contrary, Lee declared the "May 24 measures," totally suspending not only the exchange between the authorities but almost all the non-governmental exchanges. "For the last three years and four months when I held the post of permanent representative of the committee, I have never been allowed to hold even a single joint event of the nation, nor have I got a permission to conduct even a single legitimate exchange and cooperation", he noted. He branded such opposition to peaceful reunification as an action against history and ethics. "No nukes, opening and 3 000 dollars," in particular, stemmed from half-baked capitalist philosophy, he said, deploring, "We have seen a politician who reads out speeches written by others, a politician with half-baked philosophy. It is misfortune of history." South Korea should produce a figure and political forces with a right philosophy and politics on national concord and peace, he urged. |
