Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Changjon Street of modern style has appeared in the heart of Pyongyang, the capital city of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. The street is adjacent to Mansu Hill where statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il stand. It boasts of high-rises, the People's Theater, boulevards, service buildings and greenbelt. All of the buildings were tiled or covered with glasses. Each dwelling house is much more spacious than the previous one, with its walls and ceilings delicately plastered. Everything in the house is flawless. The fashionable houses were all offered to citizens free of charge. Pyongyang Changjon Primary School, Kyongsang Kindergarten and Kyongsang Nursery, newly built in sunny spots, go well with the apartment buildings in the street. Among attractions are Songyong Restaurant and Unjong Teahouse. Ordinary working people are leading an enjoyable life in this street associated with deep love of leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un for the people. |
