The statement said:

These days the U.S. imperialists have gone reckless in their maneuvers to provoke a new war in collusion with the reactionaries in Japan and the puppet forces in south Korea, their lackeys. They are stepping up arms buildup against the DPRK instead of drawing a lesson from their bitter defeat in the last Korean War.

They must not forget that their long-running ambitions for aggression and moves for provoking a new war compelled the DPRK to access nuclear weapons.

The fraternal Korean people love peace but will never pardon the aggressors who are set to threaten and disturb it.

The Peruvian progressives condemn the U.S. imperialists' escalated moves for arms buildup against the DPRK and extend solidarity to the Korean people in their efforts to defend the peace and curb the aggressors.
