The Cambodian AKP on June 10 said:

A north-south summit was made in Pyongyang in June 2000, in which the issue of Korea's reunification was discussed.

Leader Kim Jong Il made energetic activities to make sure that the joint declaration reflecting the fundamental guidelines and basic ideology to be maintained in carrying out the country's reunification was adopted.

After the lapse of 10 odd years since then, the idea of "By our nation itself", the basic idea of the June 15 joint declaration, is still shining as an immutable banner of Korea's reunification.

AKP repeatedly aired the same content on June 15.

An Equatorial Guinean radio on June 14 said:

12 years ago, Kim Jong Il met Kim Dae Jung, president of south Korea, who visited Pyongyang and made sure that the North-South Joint Declaration, most important guidelines for reunification, was adopted.

This was fully supported and welcomed by not only the Korean people but also the world people.

We are sure that the Koreans' efforts will bear a fruit.

The Ethiopian paper Daily Monitor on June 14 carried an article titled "June 15 for Reunification" introducing the exploits performed by Kim Jong Il by opening up the era of June 15 reunification.

The general director for Administrative Affairs of the Union of Myanmar Economic Holdings Limited said that the bright prospect for Korea's independent reunification was opened up by the adoption of the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration.
