The message said:

We are pleased with great progress made by the friendly government and people of Rwanda for the past half a century to achieve the national reconciliation, unity and economic development. We sincerely wish them greater successes in their future work for the country's stability and prosperity.

The message expressed belief that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with long historical tradition would grow stronger in the future.
