Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- Bangladeshi organizations issued bulletins on June 24 and 25 on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the July 4 Joint Statement. The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun Policy in a bulletin introduced in detail that President Kim Il Sung, on the basis of his deep insight into the internal and external situation early in the 1970s, set forth a policy of wide-ranging north-south negotiations and provided the historic July 4 Joint Statement. The Bangladesh Institute of the Juche Idea noted in a bulletin: The July 4 Joint Statement declared before the whole world the Three Principles of National Reunification as a reunification programme common to the nation. The principles call for reunifying the country independently and peacefully without dependence on foreign forces free from their interference, not relying on the use of force but through the great national unity irrespective of ideology, ism and social system. The publication of the July 4 Joint Statement was a shining fruition of the President's Juche-based idea and line of national reunification and his outstanding and tested leadership. Leader Kim Jong Il formulated the proposals for national reunification advanced by the President as the Three Charters for National Reunification and powerfully aroused all fellow countrymen to the struggle to carry them out. The international community should positively support the efforts of the Korean nation to reunify the country in the spirit of the July 4 Joint Statement and the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration. |
