Rodong Sinmun Slams S. Korean Regime's Pro- Japanese Action
|

Pyongyang, July 2 (KCNA) -- The Lee Myung Bak regime of south Korea railroaded a military information agreement, GSOMIA, with Japan through its "Cabinet meeting" on June 26. They did this in camera for fear of public protest. Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: This has created the possibility of the appearance of the south Korea-Japan military agreement, the first of its kind since the end of the Japanese imperialist colonial rule. The GSOMIA is aimed to tighten the military cooperation and nexus with Japan, to all intents and purposes, the commentary notes, and goes on: Lurking behind this is a sinister intention of the group of traitors to realize the wild ambition to invade the north, backed by Japan. It is the way of thinking of the Lee group that if it helps do harm to compatriots, it can join hands even with the sworn enemy and it does not bother offering south Korea as a theater of the Japanese militarist aggressive forces. The group of traitors' action is nothing but a reckless move to round up the "trilateral military alliance" at the instigation of the U.S. and create favorable environment for igniting a war against the DPRK. It is also the height of treachery to bring the Korean Peninsula under the thumb of the powers. The Lee Myung Bak group is a clan of traitors without equals as they put even the five traitors of 1905 into the shade. |
