Pyongyang, July 3 (KCNA) -- Lecture were given by the Group for the Study of the Juche Idea in Conakry, Guinea and Group for the Study of the Juche Idea at Kankan University on June 18 and 25 to commemorate the 18th anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's demise. Camano Vitor, chairman of the Conakry study group, in his lecture said Kim Il Sung's life will always be kept in the memory of the Korean people for the great feats he performed for the people all his life. The Juche idea founded by him and the people's revolutionary government he set up in the guerilla base during the anti-Japanese armed struggle were all based on his love for and trust in the people. Right after the liberation of the country from the Japanese colonial rule, he, out of his mission to devotedly work for the people as their son, carried out an agrarian reform to realize the centuries-old desire of the peasants. It was thanks to his noble idea of putting the people above anything else that free educational and medical systems were introduced and the tax system totally abolished in the DPRK. Mohamed Diouhe Fofana, chairman of the Kankan University study group, said Kim Il Sung's was a life wholly dedicated to the country and people. Kim Il Sung made sure that the party, army and government represent the people's will, demand and interests and built a unique socialist system centered on the popular masses, he said, adding: He was always busy working for the country and people. He passed away in his office room while working day and night even in the last days of his great life for the happiness of the people and the reunification of the country. His field guidance tours reached every nook and corner of the country. |
