Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- DPRK book, photo and fine art exhibitions took place in Mexico, Indonesia and South Africa between June 14 and 22 on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's start of the work at the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. Seen in the venues were photos showing undying feats of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il. On display there were their works and books, photos and fine art works introducing achievements made by the Korean people in building a thriving nation. The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico said that he took part in the celebrations of the centenary of the President's birth, the Day of the Sun, and saw for himself the inexhaustible might of the army and people of the DPRK rallied close around their leader. The DPRK has turned into a political, ideological and military power and socialist bulwark thanks to the President and Kim Jong Il, he noted, adding that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people are pushing forward the building of a thriving nation, single-mindedly united around the dear respected Kim Jong Un. The general secretary expressed conviction that the Songun revolutionary cause is sure to win. The visitors to the photo exhibition in South Africa were unanimous in saying that it offered an opportunity to know better about the greatness of the DPRK. Kim Jong Il was a great leader who developed the WPK into a tested and veteran party, they noted. The WPK always remains invincible and the future of the thriving DPRK will be brighter as it is led by Kim Jong Un, the creditable successor to Kim Jong Il's cause, they stressed. |
