Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- DPRK woman Pak Jong Suk was interviewed by Korean and foreign reporters on June 28. Referring to the motive of making up her mind to come back to the DPRK, she said: I have never forgotten the DPRK during my stay in south Korea and always sought the way to come back to the DPRK. I made much effort to attain this purpose. But, I could not discuss it with any one in fear of disclosure. Every step needed money. I eagerly wanted to come back to the DPRK. I spent days in depressed mood in despair suffering from feelings of futility. In August last year, I watched on TV leader Kim Jong Il paying a historic visit to the Russian Federation. Seeing the leader visiting Siberia and Far East area of Russia for the people's happiness despite of his emaciated body, I bitterly hated myself wandering about in dirty ditch after betraying the motherland. Leader Kim Jong Il took care of my family with a complicated background without discrimination and sent a birthday spread to my mother on her 70th birthday. My son graduated from Pyongyang University of Music and Dance and became a teacher there. He also highly appreciated my younger brother. Thinking of what I was doing in south Korea, far from repaying the benevolence shown by the leader, it seemed my heart would break apart. Regretting my hesitation, I renewed my determination to come to the DPRK at any cost even though I lose my life on the way. In December last year, news of Kim Jong Il's untimely passing away on a train while devoting himself to the welfare of our people came like a thunderbolt from the blue. I could not but burst out sobbing looking up to the sky above the motherland. I was going to come back to his embrace and beg pardon on my knees. I made up my mind to come to the DPRK at the cost of my life and be buried in the homeland. My whole soul was directed to the DPRK and I had nothing to fear. I shook off the surveillance of agents of the puppet Intelligence Service and departed the cursed south Korean land and came back to the DPRK, motherland. |
