Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Central Committee of the DPRK Red Cross Society Thursday issued a statement denouncing the south Korean puppet group for its base allurement and abduction operations and human rights abuses against DPRK residents. He termed them monstrous inhuman acts, barbarities in the 21st century and hideous human rights abuses of illegal political gangsters. Referring to what DPRK woman Pak Jong Suk said, when interviewed by Korean and foreign reporters in Pyongyang some days ago upon returning home, the spokesman said: Pak was taken away by agents of its puppet group to south Korea but was disillusioned with south Korea. The testimony made by Pak at the press conference was an expression of her anger and resentment at the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors which has committed inhuman crimes by abusing kinship for its sinister political purpose. All Koreans, people of conscience and Red Cross workers of the world are greatly astonished by the disclosure of the Lee group's above-said crimes and brand them as unimaginable terror against people, slave trade of modern version and piracy in the 21st century. The recently disclosed criminal acts of the puppet group are nothing but a tip of iceberg. Its allurement and abduction of DPRK residents are a blatant encroachment upon its sovereignty and a grave provocation against it. It is only the group of gangsters such as the Lee Myung Bak group who are strutting about in other country in this era of high civilization and make no scruple of alluring and abducting people in broad daylight, treating them like slaves and using them for their sinister political purpose. The puppet group should stop at once such criminal acts and apologize for them. It should send back all the abductees to the north. If it persists in its allurement and abduction operations, it will have to pay dearly for this and will be held wholly accountable for it. The unbiased world public, the United Nations Commission on Human Rights, international Red Cross organizations and human rights organizations and parties concerned should pay due attention to the puppet group's vicious allurement and abduction operations and human rights abuses against DPRK residents, bitterly denounce them and never pardon the group's criminal moves. If those who were deceived and taken away to south Korea by the puppet group return home after repenting of their wrongdoings, the DPRK will embrace them with deep care anytime and give them an ample opportunity of rebirth. |
