Agricultural Workers Vow to Remain Loyal to Leadership of Kim Jong Un

Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- An oath-taking meeting of agricultural workers took place in Okdo-ri, Ryonggang County, Nampho City on Thursday on the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung. Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the Central Committee of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, made a report to be followed by speeches. The reporter and speakers said that the President built on this land a socialist power, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence, with his rare ideological and theoretical activities and energetic leadership and laid a foundation for the prosperity of all generations to come. They can never forget the image of the tender-hearted President, who put forward the farmers as masters of the country and land and taught them methods of farming while frequently visiting farms without taking a rest, they noted. Leader Kim Jong Il demonstrated the dignity and might of Juche Korea and wisely led the people of the DPRK to dynamically advance along the road of a thriving nation bearing in mind the honor of being members of the Kim Il Sung's nation, they said. They expressed their firm resolution to remain true to the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un with the belief that Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are always with them. They called for doing farming well as required by the Juche farming methods true to the Workers' Party of Korea's policy of bringing about a turn in agriculture and thus increase per hectare yield and attain the goal of grain production for this year without fail. |
