The director said that on this occasion he recollected the undying feats President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed for the reunification of the country. He went on:

The President made sure that the joint statement was adopted on July 4, 1972 and put forward the Three Principles of National Reunification, the 10-Point Programme of the Great Unity of the Whole Nation, the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and other proposals for reunification.

Leader Kim Jong Il formulated the proposals advanced by the President as the Three Charters for National Reunification and worked heart and soul to implement them. It was thanks to Kim Jong Il's noble patriotism and broad magnanimity that Kim Dae Jung and Roh Moo Hyun, presidents of south Korea, visited Pyongyang in 2000 and 2007 and the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, the landmarks for national reunification, were adopted.

The dear respected Kim Jong Un, the supreme leader, is wisely leading the Korean people in the struggle to reunify the country, true to the behests of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Under the leadership of Kim Jong Un the Korean people will certainly achieve the cause of national reunification by meeting all challenges of the Lee Myung Bak puppet group of traitors keen to arrest the struggle of fellow countrymen for national reunification while seeking a permanent division of the country.
